Pros: feels very comfortable in hand, especially for being so small. Good wireless range, convenient storage for USB receiver
Cons: poor optical sensor, movement can be a bit jumpy at times, can't really describe why but double clicking with this mouse sometimes seams difficult - like the buttons don't have enough "bounce back"
Summary: The poor optics on this mouse render it very unusable in my opinion. You must have a very regular-patterned contoured surface (i.e. not a solid color sheet of paper) to get good motion response. I use it on my desk at work, which has a wood contour. The mouse moves across the screen very sporadically as I move the mouse across the various wood contours. Even with a regularly contoured mouse pad, I'll still get sporadic movement responses. I know this isn't because of the distance between the mouse and the wireless USB receiver because I've tested it at 10 times the distance I normally use it and it operates with the exact same results.
Bottom line: don't get this mouse. The only reason I have it is because my work provided it to me with my Toshiba laptop (of which I'm also not a big fan but probably because of the company software installed on it). I've since put it in a drawer and brought my own Kensington optical wireless mouse, which though not as comfortable as the Toshiba has much smoother operation.
