The person who wrote that it doesn't print in black is an idiot. I have this printer and it prints in just black fine. In fact that is all I usually use. The quality of it's photos are great. Great buy and is extremely small and can easily fit into small space. I put mine under my bed and just plug it into my USB port on my computer whenever I need it. Great buy. Especially if you are a student
