I got this printer at a local discount store for only $30.00. I don't understand how Amazon can put such a high price on a discontinued (or soon to be) printer.
Discontinuing this printer is too bad. It almost lives up to the hype. I had a rough start with ink bleeding and making tractor marks on the prints, but it stopped. Print quality has also improved after some use.
I find that generic ink cartridges, and generic photo paper, work just as well as the Canon products - and costs less than half.
My main concern now is how long I will be able to get ink cartridges.
