I bought this printer a couple of years ago. In the first six months I had it, I had two defective print heads. The first one gave out within the first month. The second about 3-4 months later. It streaked badly and the colors were totally off. Cleaning, deep cleaning, etc., did not work. It only affected the blue ink. All other colors printed fine in the test patterns. Canon replaced them and shipped them to me free of charge, since it was still under warranty. It took about 7 days to get the replacements. I have not had any problems with the print head since. I recently had to switch to remote printing, and bought a bluetooth adaptor (not from Canon), and got the following error message when I plugged it into the printer: "An unsupported USB hub is connected. Remove the hub." In emailing Canon, they informed me that you have to use their (very expensive) Bluetooth adaptor.
