#@: Ps C4250 All In One Inkjet Printer 300 Ppm Black 23 Ppm Color 1.5 Display HEWCC211A Category Inkjet Printers

I bought this printer at Sam's and am now looking to buy another one for my work truck (I don't want two printer drivers and sofware on my laptop). I paid 50 dollars for it because it cost the same price for replacement ink for the much larger and older all-in-one I had at the time. When I download software and drivers for a piece of equipment, I try to keep it simple. That is what I did for this printer. It was nothing but problems. It would print anything I wanted, but I couldn't get the scanner to work. It was always prompting me to update this and update that. I uninstalled everything and tried to download the drivers straight from HP's website. That was a disaster. HP wants you to download everything. So I surrendered, inserted the disk that came with the unit, downloaded everthing and have had no problems since. Scanner works great, Printer works (agree with the paper issue, too much messes it up), copier works. It also comes with a cool web feature. It allows you to take a picture of a webpage, and then save it as a PDF. I didn't think much of it until I needed it, and now I use it all the time. So, my advice is too suck it up, download everything off the disk, and don't expect print jobs that a 300 dollar printer can do. If you want high quality pictures, go to Walgreens. If you want pictures that are decent quality that nobody is going to notice once you put it into a frame, then this machine is just fine. I have already used up the original ink, and I've printed a lot, including photos. I have now gone to xl's (larger ink cartridges) and installing was flawless. Like I said, I paid 50 dollars for this machine and I got what I paid for. I am happy with that.
