-- Brother Pocketjet 3 Engine

This little printer sounds terrific, doesn't it? When it first arrived I was delighted: it's lightweight and compact, perfect for travel. Here is what they don't tell you in the product description: It doesn't come with a battery, nor a charger cable! You have to buy those separately, can you believe it? Oh, but it comes with a 12V Car Adapter to "allow you to operate your PocketJet printer from a vehicle source of power" so all is well, right? Wrong! Read the fine print about this (oh wait, there insn't any in the product description..." It comes with a hard-wired version of the above, the installation of which "should only be performed by qualified service peronnel" AKA an electritian. If you (like me) happen not to be an electrician and don't know what this means, I'll describe it to you: The nice little plug that goes into the printer is at the end of long wires that are just that, wires. No way to plug them into anything without an electrician to attach a car ignitian adapter to the wires. This is a joke, right? I only wish it was. So, let's recap:

The printer is cute but arrives with no battery and no means by which to charge it.

Oh, and this whole thing is made in China (if that matters to you).
