I have an HP wireless mouse, very similar to this one. For the first 6 months it worked fine, then it began operating erratically, not tracking correctly and became unusable. It was within the one year warranty period, so I contacted HP. For two days all I got was a runaround, told to contact someone else, call overseas, send pictures of the mouse, contact the vendor, etc. After one 38 minute phone call (mostly on hold) and SIX emails, I gave up! I would recommend avoiding ALL HP products because of their failure to stand behind their product warranty!
