$*$ Gyration GYR4101CKUS Air Music Remote with Compact Keyboard

I am giving it 4 stars since I have had this product for couple of weeks now and haven't used it as much. I did not by it at Amazon but wanted to review the product. The instructions for setting up the remote are not novice friendly. I was able to connect it to my Windows XP SP3 laptop and it worked great - Once I had the Gyration Music Service software installed I was able to see my Windows Media Player playlist and was able to navigate thru the playlist without any problem and pick my favorite songs. I also tried to hook it up with my Windows Vista Laptop and that also worked great - I was able to control the Media center and WM Player without any problem. The remote does not require to be in pointed directly it works great in a different room - I tried a distance of about 12ft and it works well. The keyboard is quite convenient, hooked my laptop to my TV via DVI and was able to type up web addresses and play youtube videos without any problems. The keyboard syncing is very easy and works instantly. Only thing is that since the keyboard is small you have to get used to the keyboard layout - I tend to always punch in the wrong characters. I was able to successfully control my Sony HT receiver but it took a while to get it setup. I haven't used all the features but I am able to turn on/off and control volume as long as I am in the line of sight. I should say I am quite happy so far. Haven't tried TV controls yet, will update my review once I do so.
