We bought 2 of these devices. One wouldn't work at all -- we couldn't make the plug and the mouse synch. The other one setup fine but after a few weeks became less responsive.
The battery placement is strange. You have to take the top of the mouse off to put the battery in. This makes the top loose and a bit wobbly.
Get the Connectland or Microsoft 3000 mouse -- they both do an excellent job, are easy to setup and come in cool colors.
