I bought this printer over a year ago because I wanted a wireless printer that I could usefrom my desktop and laptops. It came with software for XP and Vista. The XP software for another desktop worked fine to set up just fine. The problem was that my other desktop was running Windows 7 RC. Set up was a bit of a pain as the Vista install disk did not work at all but I followed the different steps in the paper manual that was provded and got it working. Then I had to repeat the set up process when I moved to Windos 7 Pro months later. Still no Windows 7 install software from HP. Just this week I installed a new wireless router. Still no install software for Windows 7 from HP. I follwed the install instructions on the HP website for Windows 7 like a fanatic. The instructions did not work. No wireless connection. Wired worked, not wireless. Finally after several hours of messing around I manually entered the IP address and subnet mask of the printer on the printer settings webpage where you access the printer configuration. It worked! So I send this off in the hope that it will help someone.
Overall a nice printer. Just this one very irritating problem.
